America Ferrerabrought her own fashion fairytale to the2024 SAG Awardsred carpet.
Ferrera wore a custom Dior Haute Couture black wool and silk crepe dress with white organza sleeves.
“It feels like a princess fairytale moment - princess fairytale Barbie that’s me,” she shared on E!’s Live from the Red Carpet pre-show of the gorgeous custom look.
She finished the look with over 30 carats of diamonds from De Beers, including a show-stopping chocker boasting more than 20 carats.
She told PEOPLE last month that working with Welch on putting together outfits specifically forBarbiepromo was so much fun because her stylist is a “killer” who really knows what she’s doing. And whenpressed to pick a favorite, Ferrera waffled a bit before landing on the all-leather set when she was in South Korea.

“I just loved it so much,” Ferrera said of the Tanya Taylor top and Veronica Beard pants. “I mean, I’ve loved so many of the outfits, so it’s very hard to pick. But I remember putting this on and being like, ‘This is exactly how I feel.'”

Ferrera told PEOPLE that the bold leather look — plus the hair and makeup — made her feel like a “badass,” adding, “I felt strong.”
“I love wearing a dress, but there’s something about pants and heels that make me feel tall because I’m a whopping 5'2”, so I love being in high heels, but a great pant look just feels like that’s my true inner look," Ferrera said. “What’s so brilliant about [Karla] is she is never putting clothesonme. She’s always helping bring through the way I want to feel. Sometimes that’s soft and feminine, and sometimes that’s va va voom. And other times it’s, like, badass boss in a pantsuit. I would say that I probably feel the most like myself in a badass pantsuit.”

To close out last summer’s press tour in London — just in time for the SAG/AFTRA strike, Ferrera wore a very fittingred Alex Perry dress with a heart cutouton the back. It was the perfect ending to a fashion-forward tour for a movie filled with love and empowerment.
TheSuperstoreactress used herInstagramcaption to thank Welch for her styling throughout promo, writing, “I ❤️ u @karlawelchstylist. Thanks for all the slay.”
Meanwhile, Welch alsopostedthe eye-catching look, using her caption to commemorate the end of the press tour. “Seems like a perfect one to end on,” Welch wrote.
