Today Lucasfilm confirm thatTales of the Underworldwill be the next entry in theTalesanthology format , which has previously search thestories of the Jediand thetime of the Empire . This clock time around , the criminal underworld buzz off a glare through the lenses of the returned Asajj Ventress and Duros bounty hunting watch Cad Bane .
The twinned stories will follow Ventress afterher riposte from deathin the 2015 bookDark Disciple , as she tries to navigate life after the Clone Wars and during the reign of the Galactic Empire — and ostensibly pluck up an unlikely new ally in the soma of a young Force - sensitive child , on the run from the Imperial Inquisitorius . Meanwhile , Bane ’s side of things will take us back into the bounty hunter ’s past , as he confronts an honest-to-god near friend that has since turned to the side of law enforcement .

Presumably , Underworldwill black market six sequence long — three episode for each one for Ventress and Bane . But hopefully now that we ’re well into the swing of things with thisTalesanthology serial , it can come up a better counterbalance between the story it need to tell , in the clock time it want to tell them — matter that bothTales of the JediandTales of the Empirebefore it contend with , even when gleam at their best .
