When Curiosity looks up into the sky , what does it see ? On August 1st , it saw the Martian moons Phobos and Deimos and was able to enamor them in a single effigy .
This is a raw image from Curiosity , taken from the surface of Mars . Phobos is the moon that appears larger in the image ; Deimos is the smaller blob .
Emily Lakdawalla ofthe Planetary Society , who spotted this image , mark that it also looks like Curiosity has enchant television of the moon ’ effort across the sky . Hopefully , we ’ll be date those soon .
