We got a heap of info about the pasts of our amnesiac work party this week . By having Five wander the memories she ’s got download into her mastermind . Of course , there ’s one she care good than the others , and we get to learn all about how wallowing in the past times is unsafe .
As always , I apologize for being MIA for the last few episode . A series of venial disasters and one major one ( Comic - Con ) get in the way of recapping the show . Here ’s a brief summation of what ’s happened :
Episode Four : Four is a summit prince who is suspected of kill his emperor father and contrive the whole system into topsy-turvyness . Meanwhile , One run into himself and they rule out clone in favour of incredibly thorough and trespassing operating theater to take his shoes on the Raza . Meanwhile , the Raza got run for off the space post before finishing the repairs , Two and Five lost the ship ’s stay money in a casino , One and Three lost the guns to the tangible ( ? ) One , and Three covered for One .

Episode Five : David Hewlett fatigue this shirt :
Also , zombies .
Which Two was surprisingly immune to and mend from a zombie pungency very promptly . wager that ’s going to be ace plot of ground relevant .

So , on to Episode Six !
David Hewlett wore this robe :
I would wish to volunteer to have my hand chopped off ( bequeath , plainly . I ’m not crazy ) so that we never have to follow any pseudo - romantic scenes between One and Two ever again . I hate this subplot . One is massively ameliorate by give him a caboodle of screen meter with Three — only ever let One interact with Three and he actually is n’t annoying . They ’ve got outstanding remaining - couple interpersonal chemistry . But hear Two recount one she wo n’t sleep with him because there might be “ complication ” and make One be all happy about it because “ knottiness ” is “ feelings ” and peradventure “ honey ” is so obnoxious I kind of long for death .

I love Two a slew . Please terminate this awful romanticism .
In the main plot of land , Five has panel - rigged a nous probe so that she can adjudicate to pull up everyone else ’s memory , which she experiences as both a dream and a near bosom - attack . For the interest of pronoun system of logic — which is a deal , since Five acts out all the memories , even when they ’re not her own — I ’m go to use the pronoun of whoever ’s memory she ’s in .
Her first computer storage is of Four , sparring as a young boy in front of his father , the emperor of the space samurai culture . Sigh , it ’s always space samurai . Because swords in space are cool , but katanas in blank space are coolheaded .

Young Four goes tardily on the other boy , and so his father beats him into being better . Five goes to secern Four the memory board , and Four secernate Five to basically get over emotional reactions to the memory .
Four forces his fashion to his Father of the Church ’s sickbed , does a Varsity Blues - mode “ I do n’t desire your life ” speech . Only to find the emperor dead , defeat by his half - brother ’s female parent . So Four will be executed and the exiled sidekick will rule . Four fights his way out of the palace , while the accent of the memory get Five stuck in dream - storage state .
Sidenote : Unfortunately for Four , he ’s more animize when Jodelle Ferland ( Five ) dally him than he ’s ever allowed to be in the present . I do get that a lot of trauma happen that changed Four , but when you ’ve get the double - whammy of having a different actor act that part and a entirely different personality , it ’s arduous to believe that the memories and the Four we ’ve met are in reality the same person .

The third memory is actually Five ’s ! Whose name is Das , and was a cutpurse in an Oliver Twist - flair gang . Das pickpocketed a guy and terminate up with the key we actually saw last week — part of a connection that opens up a portal square tohammerspace — and that guy killed everyone in her makeshift home . Except for her and another shaver , whose name is pointless since we know he die because he ’s the cadaver from episode three . They stowaway on the Raza as a way to flee .
Five ’s genius is disconnect from her body , and her organs are shutting down . One heroic poem technobabble later on and Six has go into Five ’s mental capacity to get her out .
Next jump , and Six meets up with Five in a barn . Five says this memory ’s “ pure ” — there ’s intellectual nourishment , two parent who love “ him , ” and skating every day on the pond . It ’s probably One ’s since neither of them believe the happy farm life is Three ’s . Five wants her consistence put in stasis and to just stay in this remembering . Five tells her that she ’s fail and she ’s got no dominance in here . And he cue her that at some compass point something bad materialize that invest One on the ship . There ’s no avoiding that fortune , but there is a hazard at forge your own fate in the real world .

Of the entire cast , Roger Cross as Six is the most instinctive . I find like he ’s a existent person every time he ’s on screen . He almost sticks out because everyone else is act so heavily . Acting in a very playfulness , tropey way , but still act . It ’s in the forced chemistry ( No , I ’m not cash in one’s chips to shut up about One and Two ) , overly quippy line of descent ( Three ) , unearthly spell / insights ( Five ) , stoic secretiveness emphasize with statements about “ honour ” ( Four ) , and technobabble ( the humanoid ) . Six is the only one whom I feel is written like a factual person . And Cross sells it all . I felt for Six when he was sting in the doctor ’s office two workweek ago and I matt-up for him in the memory this week . It ’s why he get forth with the spoken language about choice , fate , and the material public . If I had had to listen to One ’s preachy tooshie give it , I would have been passably annoyed .
Epilogue time : Five assure Four that he did n’t kill his father , the Empress did . And she says that he can put it behind him , you sleep with , like he separate her to do with the store ? Except , irony onslaught , he is not okay with incur out that he did n’t do what he ’s accused of and what set him on this path . He just sort of storm out .
Also not permit doodly-squat go ? Six , who ends up watching a report card on the “ General ” who manipulated him into bolt down all those people .

We ’re almost midway through the time of year , and we ’re getting a pretty whole solvent to the doubtfulness of whether you may just start over as a newfangled individual : No , because love those the great unwashed I ca n’t remember . Neither Four nor Six actually remember being wronged , but they can not lease it go after learning about it through Five .
We memorize a luck about Four , Five , and Six this workweek . I really appreciate a show that does n’t thread us along eternally on that . And we know a scrap more about One — in that he ’s not really the face he wears — and I bet anything that Three ’s not take around a giant mystery . He ’s just a guy cable who likes money and fritter thing , which is squeamish . But we know nothing about Two ’s account . She ’s the loss leader and she ’s mostly quite good at it . But we do n’t have any clue about her yesteryear .
Other drop threads are : how did Five go from being airlocked by Three ( he get her in her memory of being a stowaway ) to being in the stasis pod ? No , badly , who the fuck is One ? And what ’s going to come about with the real Jace Corso who is wandering around ? I in reality want to bonk the result to these questions , which is great . It ’s hard to create mystery story that are employ and not frustrative .
