On November 7th , Legoannouncedthat they would be bring on a set based on Tom Poulsom ’s Bird projectsubmissionto Lego Ideas . Lego did aninterviewwith the creator of Birds ( 21301 ) where we get a peep at the stage set and corner art .
Because the set practice only existing elements in colors that were already available we get a really quick turnaround on this one . It front like from approval to sale will be right about 8 weeks , which is reasonably telling . Lego seems to be aim better about churning these sports fan theoretical account out and it give me pretty high-pitched hope for succeeding labor .
The end result is beautiful and not very far off from the original design , which is a joyousness . It looks like all they really did was pick off the substructure for the models .
The birds are a grown challenge to progress , building something to look organic from Lego bricks is not well-to-do , but it is a great challenge and one I revel very much . I like to imagine of Lego as the in effect puzzler in the world .
Lego already has the 580 piece setlistedin their store for $ 44.99 , so first-class value too at just 7.7 cents per constituent . Unfortunately , we will have to wait just over a month before we can get our hand on one as it will not useable for leverage until January of 2015 .
