This fragrance — which I feel I need to stress is real andwhich can be ordered here , although there ’s a bit of a backlog — comes out December 15th and was manifestly design by none other than Star Trek star George Takei himself . The official verbal description read :

Subtle and witching , with top notes of mandarin piquance , Italian bergamot and refreshing ozone transitioning to Nox - blooming jasmine , white freesia flower petal and grated powdered ginger . Sensual forest , crystalized amber , easygoing skin musk , and vetiver will delight you when juiceless .
The makers do n’t say it , but I think we all know this fragrance is mine directly from George Takei ’s personal stew glands , as this is the smell he normally exudes . Personally , I would have thought Takei to be more of a sandalwood and rosewater - character , but whatever . I trust his olfactory organ more than mine .
