April 10th is said to be the date they ’ll pull out out of the country , but according to the China Business News newspaper , Google will make the annunciation next Monday , March 22nd . A former Google staff member , Peter Lui , has been cite as saying :
“ [ They ’ve ] burnt bridges and they ’ve cauterize the Google brand in China … there is no mode Google can ever come up back . ”
YesterdayBloomberg got in touch with 22 of the 27 companies who allegedly sent a letter to Google demanding recompense if they upped and left , leave their purchase of advertising keywords dead , and substantiate that none of them had sign the letter nor even know of it . [ Bloomberg ]
