Guys, I ThinkThe Walking DeadMight Be Losing It

When it was announcedThe walk Dead ’s eleventh time of year would also beits last , I assumed the show would get itself together to terminate the zombie serial with a bang , something to rekindle the interest group of the gazillion of witness that used to check the show . Instead , I have no estimate what it ’s doing , and I do n’t think The Walking Dead does , either .

The third installment of season 11 , “ Hunted , ” is an improvement in that it ’s only wall - to - wall confusedness with a fertile venous blood vessel of lip service . It ’s not high-risk , per se , but it is baffling . Let ’s disregard the two tiny scene of the Walking Dead Kids Klub , where they play games and get sad their parents are constantly get out them . We can make the briefest honorable mention of Carol ( Melissa McBride ) , Magna ( Nadia Hilker ) , Kelly ( Angel Theory ) , and Rosita ’s ( Christian Serratos ) attempt to catch some of the horses that run Alexandria during Beta ’s onrush , because a hilariously majestic shot of horses run across a gorgeous sunset is followed by a forlorn Carol slice one of the cavalry ’ throats . You do it , just in suit you ’d somehow forgotten citizenry on The Walking Dead are n’t allowed to have nice matter ( for longsighted , anyway ) .

Even the dead people are extend . It ’s so bizarre I imagine it was a ambition chronological sequence . But that ’s not the case ! Maggie escapes to a section store / artist ’ loft / garage / someplace which seems to have been give up long before the zombie apocalypse start .

Here ’s where “ Hunted ” is good , as Maggie sample to crawl through the dark construction unnoticed while a harvester stalks her , occasionally burst out of the wickedness for short but vastly satisfying fight scenes . At one point , Maggie advertize the Reaper over a banister , down a stairwell , and she just stares down into the dark . Then you hear faint footsteps that get increasingly louder , faster , and near , and Maggie just bolt . It ’s one of the most effectively scary Walking drained consequence in late memory board . Eventually , the Reaper drive the well of her but Negan luckily bulge out of nowhere to redeem her . Together , they find the very wounded Alden and a span of Maggie ’s Meridian buddies who apace prick the dust . Since Alden can barely hobble and it ’s have obscure , the threesome takes refuge in a low church building where they make the hard , irritating decision that Alden has to persist behind so Maggie and Negan can secure the bad require solid food supply at Maggie ’s old colony Meridian for Alexandria . That ’s all well and good , but when we try out the instalment ’s details , they do n’t add up . At all .

Example # 1 : Negan — After Maggie and Negan get hold Alden , Negan says they should trip back to Alexandria because Alden ’s extremely wounded and they ’re being trail by homicidal bastard . Maggie is unsurprisingly against this idea , as she is of all Negan ’s ideas . Example # 3 : Maggie — While agonise over the determination of whether to entrust Alden behind or not , Maggie yells at Negan that he ’s “ not reserve to decide who live or who go anymore . ” She say this like the idea of holding the tycoon of life or death over people is a bad thing , as you would call up … on any other show but The Walking Dead .
