Laura Preponand her husbandBen Fosterhave welcomed their second child, the actressannounced on Instagram Wednesdayalongside the first photo she shared of the newborn.
PEOPLE has confirmed the couple’s new addition is a boy.
“Welcoming home our new bundle of love. Overwhelmed with gratitude. ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Prepon, 39,captioned the snapshot.

“We are so excited to announce that our family is growing. Life is beautiful!” Preponcaptioned the post, adding the hashtag, “#knockedup.”
Just days later, Prepon and her husbandstepped out together on the red carpetwhile attending an event in Washington, D.C. The actress, who wore a long-sleeved Christian Siriano gown, cradled her growing bump during the outing, while Foster opted for a black suit, white button-down shirt and black tie.

Prepon and fellow actor Foster, 39, welcomed Ella in summer 2017. PEOPLEconfirmed their pregnancy newsthe previous January, just a few months afterFoster popped the question.
The couple went on totie the knot in June 2018, with the formerThat ’70s Showstar posting a black-and-white photo of the pair embracing on their happy day.
“Just Married! Thank you for all the love and support,” Prepon wrote alongsidethe sweet snapshot. “Wishing all of us the good stuff!”

In April of last year, the actress opened up on a segment of The MOMS about how she balances her career with being a parent, noting that she “had to get back to work really quickly” after giving birth.
“Ben and I are really great about if I’m at work, he’s [at home], and if he’s at work, I’m [at home],” she said. “[But]I do feel guilty, and I just know that [Ella would] be proud if she knew. I’ve talked to a bunch of women [asking], ‘How do you do this?’ And they’re just like, ‘There’s really no solution. You just do it.’ ”
Prepon alsotouched on mom shaming, saying, “Even with some women having tobottle feed their babiesearlier rather than breastfeed and the mom shaming that goes on … I don’t allow that anywhere near me or my friends.”
