Duane Martin is flying high!
The 58-year-old actor revealed onInstagramover the weekend that he and actress and model Ashley Marie Jones are engaged following a romantic proposal during a private helicopter ride in California.
“She said YES 💍 ❤️,” he declared in the caption of a post on Saturday featuring a montage of video clips of Jones, set to Thee Sacred Souls' “Can I Call You Rose?” hit.
“Meet my fiancée. God don’t make people like her in 3s. She’s rare. She’s a heart opener. Her spirit is cherry,” he continued, adding, “I’m hugging gratitude tight 🙏🏽.”
Jones commented on the post, “Excited to go on this journey with you. I love you big time ✨.”
“I wanted to share this wonderful moment with you guys 😊,” Martin wrote in the post’s caption. “Thank you all for your love and support.”
Jones, who has appeared inSuperstoreandLucifer, also shared the video on her ownInstagram page, and revealed how the engagement was a doubly special occasion for her.

“To such an amazing man. I value our connection; it’s at high altitude, high frequency, and filled with lots of laughter ✨@duane_martin,” she continued.

Martin’s celebrity friends were quick to congratulate the couple in the comment section of theWhite Men Can’t Jumpstar’s proposal video post, includingRed Table Talk’sAdrienne Banfield-Norris, who wrote, “You put a ring on her! Huge congrats to you and Ash! We are so happy for you both❣️.”

Martin was previously wed to actressTisha Campbell. The pair — whosplit in 2018after more than 20 years of marriage — shares two sons, Xen, 22, andEzekiel Czar, 14.
