And the actor goes to …Patricia Arquette!
As she accepted her award on stage, Arquette, 50, revealed to the audience that she didn’t think her name was actually called at first.
“I thought you were sayingPatricia Clarkson, so I was like, ‘Yeah! She’s awesome!'” she admitted, before jokingly adding: “I told her I wanted to go to her acting class.”

She also took time to thank herDannemoradirectorBen Stiller. “For your incredible support and letting me explore Tilly and believing that there was value to the way she saw the world and felt her sexuality,” Arquette said.

Wrapping up her speech, Arquette took a political turn and demanded that actors were properly paid.
“One order of business: some production companies are not paying people their overtime and their meal penalties,” she explained. “So start taking pictures of your schedule and your call sheet because actors depend on that — money to survive. We have to stop that practice!”
She also thanked Robert Mueller, the head of the special counsel, and government employees who are working to “make sure that we have sovereignty for the United States of America.”

Arquette’s win comes just weeks after shetook home the Golden Globefor her role in the Showtime drama. During her acceptance speech, she accidentally dropped an f-bomb.
While talking about her character Tilly Mitchell, Arquette explained she was given multiple sets of false teeth to portray her role.
“How many f—–ed up teeth does a person need? I was born with f—–ed up teeth!” Arquette joked.
She later apologized for her language in a press room. “I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry, I know! You can’t take it back, can you? I didn’t plan that. It was an unplanned f-bomb… this is a very elegant occasion. Dental dramas are true. Trust me.”
Arquette previously won a SAG award in 2015 forBoyhood.She was also nominated forMediumin 2010, 2007 and 2006.
The 25th annualSAG Awardsare being presented live on both TBS and TNT from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
