Rachel Weiszarrived at the 2019 Oscars dressed to impress.

“We just thought it was really cool,” her stylist Kate Young told PEOPLE exclusively. “It feels fancy and couture and sort of old world in a way but yet super modern.”

The star accessorized her hair with two silver Cartier feather pins from 1903 for an elegant pop.

“We basically had to sew them into her hair. I wanted to use old jewelry and do it in a way that felt really chic, current, clean and minimal,” Young added.
