AsThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hillswrapped up season 13,Dorit Kemsleytook stock of challenges in her marriage.
Much of Wednesday’sRHOBHseason finalefocused onKyle Richards’separationfrom husbandMauricio Umansky, but Kemsley was also navigating a crossroads in her own relationship withPaul “PK” Kemsley.
While attending Richards’ white party, the 47-year-old Beverly Beach founder revealed that she’s realized that she and her husband of nine years have many issues to work through — especially because she feels as though the talent manager, 56, doesn’t always meet her needs emotionally.
Dorit candidly admitted that her “main takeaway” from the past year “is PK and I have a lot of work to do.”
She continued, “No matter how hard I try, it feels like he’s never gonna take me seriously and be as present as I need him to be when I need him.”

Season 13 ofRHOBHexplored those concerns, includingdisagreements over how to raise their two children— son Jagger, 9, and daughter Phoenix, 7 — and their sessions with acouple’s therapistabout Dorit’s PTSD from a 2021home invasion.
On Wednesday’s finale, Dorit wondered whether PK could change or not, and if it couldn’t, what that would mean for the future of their relationship. She added, “Maybe he’ll never change but, do I have to accept that he won’t? Can I? I don’t know."
This echoed her feelings from an earlier scene in which PK FaceTimed her from a business trip to the U.K. After his return to Los Angeles was delayed once more, forcing him to miss the white party, she said in a confessional interview that she has had “moments where I worry will we be able to stay together.”

Although fans will have to wait for the forthcoming reunion to find out more about how the Nektaria founder and the British entrepreneur reconciled, the episode seemed to tease that the couple is in a better place than they were at the time of filming. “[PK] finally came home from London after 39 days,” a title card eventually revealed.
The title card went on: “The real distance remains between Dorit and Kyle … who haven’t spoken since December.”
Despite thedriftbetween theRHOBHstars, Richards weighed in on the Kemsleys’ marriage on Wednesday’sepisodeofWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“I know that they’re in a good place now and they’re working on it, so I’d like to think [they’ll work out],” she said, before acknowleding, “I think some of these scenes do make you wonder.”

Shortly after, the couple shared a statement with PEOPLE toclarify that their marriage remains intact, despite having “had some challenging years.”
“We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family,” the Kemsleys said. “We have not separated nor are we planning to do so. Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage.”
They went on to ask for support from viewers. “We would be grateful for everyone’s understanding,” their joint statement said. “We are doing what we can to focus on the best interests of our family, as opposed to spending our time contending with rumors and hearsay that are not true.”
